For The Record Joins Tyler Technologies
For The Record is now part of Tyler Technologies.
This marks an important step forward for both organizations—and for the courts we serve. Together, we’re bringing audio and video recording, speech-to-text, and case management systems closer together to better support how the official record is captured, accessed, and used.
For more than 30 years, For The Record has focused on one thing: improving how courts capture and work with the record. Today, our technology is used in courtrooms around the world, supporting justice systems in more than 80 countries.
By joining Tyler, we’re building on that foundation. Combining our recording and speech-to-text capabilities with Tyler’s broader Courts & Justice business will give our customers the ability to create a more connected experience—from the moment proceedings begin to how the record is accessed and managed afterward.
What doesn’t change is just as important.
Our team remains in place across the US, Australia, and the UK. We’ll continue developing and supporting the products courts rely on today—including FTR Justice Cloud, FTR Gold, and FTR RealTime—while investing in what comes next.
“Bringing For The Record into the Tyler portfolio strengthens our ability to support courts with more connected, accessible, and efficient solutions,” said Tony Douglass, Chief Executive Officer of For The Record
For our customers, this means continued focus on reliability, security, and accessibility—along with new opportunities to simplify workflows and expand access to court content.
We’re excited about what we can build together.
